Qualifying conditions to get a medical license

A Licensed Provider in Puerto Rico can recommend the use of Medical Cannabis for the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Degenerative conditions such as; Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease) and Multiple Sclerosis
  • Anorexia
  • Cancer and chemotherapy treatment for cancer
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Hepatitis C
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Migraines
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
    Anxiety disorders, defined by DSM V) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Other conditions that cause chronic/severe pain, severe nausea, muscle spasms/ chronic muscle spasms determined by an authorized provider
